Stamping the return address like that is a neat idea and a good compromise between the handwriting and the labels. It shows that you still took the time to handle each invitation individually.

[...] Wedding Invitations – A Return Address Stamp If you don’t have your invitation or reply card envelopes preprinted with your address you might want to consider having a personalized rubber stamp created for you. Handwriting is nice but time consuming and labels can sometime feel like an impersonal, last minute afterthought, slapped onto an otherwise beautifully created invitation. (Although I have seen them done nicely.) I highly recommend Impress Rubber Stamps. They have wonderful custom s Source: http://avantbride.wordpress.com/2008/04/07/wedding-invitations-a-return-address-stamp/ [...]

Great tip! I took your advice, got my stamp made, and it's here already! I definitely have to second the idea of embossing, as my stamping ink was still not dry after a full day. I imagine it would have gotten ruined in the mail, but the embossing makes sure it's set, plus I think it looks nicer.
